What Is Pelican 泡棉客製化 — Custom Foam Insert for Pelican Cases
Pelican 泡棉客製化 is a precision foam insert service designed specifically for Pelican protective cases, replacing the stock Pick N Pluck foam with a custom-cut EVA liner shaped to your exact equipment.
Unlike hand-torn Pick N Pluck foam, our custom inserts hold every piece of equipment completely still inside the case, eliminating all shifting and vibration damage during transport.
At Xia Laser, we use CNC laser cutting technology to produce foam inserts with tolerances within 0.5mm — a standard that Pick N Pluck foam cannot come close to achieving.
Why Pick N Pluck Foam Is Not Enough
Pelican cases are among the world’s best protective shells, but the stock Pick N Pluck foam is a universal design that cannot conform to the specific shape of each user’s equipment.
Hand-torn foam leaves gaps of 2 to 5mm around equipment, allowing shifting and collision during transport that causes surface scratches and calibration damage over time.
Our Pelican 泡棉客製化 eliminates all internal movement by creating a form-fitting cavity around each item, allowing your case to perform at its full protective potential.

Step one: send us a photo of your equipment and your Pelican case model number. No measurements needed at this stage — a photo is enough to assess the layout.
Step two: choose your foam color combination using our foam color selector and send us a screenshot of your preferred dual-color pairing.
Step three: we finalize the layout based on your usage habits, take precise measurements, and build a CAD digital template for your approval.
Step four: our CNC laser system executes the template at 0.5mm tolerance, producing clean edges with no residue or burn marks.
Step five: the completed insert is shipped by courier to your address across Taiwan and internationally.

Q: Is there a minimum order quantity?
No minimum order is required. We produce Pelican 泡棉客製化 for a single case with no quantity restrictions. Multi-case orders are more cost-efficient.

Standard orders are completed within five to seven business days. Rush orders are available — please note your required delivery date when placing your order.

Yes. Xia Laser (雷射蝦) is an authorized dealer for Pelican, providing both original protective cases and precision Pelican 泡棉客製化 foam insert services from our Bali, New Taipei studio.
Q: Can remote clients order without visiting your studio?
Yes. Clients outside Taipei can order remotely by providing equipment photos and the case model number or internal dimensions. Finished inserts are shipped across Taiwan and internationally to Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and other markets.
